All-Ireland champions Armagh have had their Sam Maguire success reflected in the list of nominations in the PwC Football All-Stars for 2024 announced today. The Orchard County is celebrating 11 places in the list of 45 that represent the cream of the crop from the football season.

Armagh's Oisín Conaty, Galway's Johnny McGrath and Donegal's Ciaran Moore are in the running for Young Footballer of the Year.

The PwC GAA/GPA Footballer of the Year award hasn't been won by an Armagh or Galway player since 2003, but that is set to change.

THE GALWAY DUO of Paul Conroy and John Maher, along with Armagh star Barry McCambridge, have all been shortlised for the 2024 PwC GAA/GPA Footballer of the Year. It is a novel list of nominees with none of the three having previously been in the running for this award, and all are chasing their first All-Star this year.

All-Ireland champions Armagh unsurprisingly top the bill in the list of nominations for the 2024 GAA All-Stars football shortlist. The annual football and hurling celebration is coming later in the autumn and will highlight the best performers from the summer’s championship.
