The Big Ten is awaiting to see how many teams make the cut in the second CFP rankings, which come out tonight. Here's what to know:

There's a great deal of football left to be played, but if the 12-team College Football Playoff started today, the Georgia Bulldogs would be out. The Alabama Crimson Tide would be in, as would the Texas Longhorns,

The other ranked teams: No. 4 Penn State, No. 5 Indiana, No. 7 Tennessee, No. 8 Notre Dame, No. 10 Alabama and No. 11 Ole Miss. Both the SEC and Big Ten placed four teams in the projected Week 2 bracket.
