Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has accused the previous YSR Congress-led government of procuring adulterated ghee for the famous Tirupati laddus, affecting their sacredness. Naidu claims the sentiments of devotees were hurt.

During a review meeting with his ministers and officials over the adulterated laddu issue, N. Chandrababu Naidu warned about strict action against those disturbing the sanctity of the Tirumala.

On Friday, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) reported finding 'lard' (pig fat) and other impurities in ghee, based on a lab report.
