On the back of a brilliant hundred, Samson made it to the elite list of batters who have made multiple tons as he joined the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul.

The Suryakumar Yadav -led team spectacularly defeated the Proteas Men in the inaugural match of the India-South Africa T20I series. The visiting team completely dominated the first game against the hosts at the Kingsmead Stadium in Durban.

The century against South Africa was Sanju Samson's second consecutive T20I hundred after the Bangladesh ton in the last T20I of the 3-match series back in October.
