Federal prosecutors say a California teenager pleaded guilty in a case involving the swatting of a Florida mosque, among other institutions and individuals.

So-called "swatter-for-hire" Alan W. Filion, 18, pleaded guilty to calling in bomb and shooting threats, including two in Florida in 2023.
