Kate Middleton made an emotional return to public duty on Nov. 9 at the Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall and then again on Nov. 10 at Remembrance Sunday at The Cenotaph. These back-to-back events mark the first time that has happened in all of 2024,

Kate Middleton has been on a health journey this year, and while Prince William has been her biggest supporter, she’s also leaning on another royal as she returns to formal duties.

In March, Kate confirmed she had been diagnosed with an unknown form of cancer. What followed was a nine-month battle as she underwent “preventative chemotherapy”. She endured intense online speculation in the weeks leading up to the public announcement and has largely stayed out of the spotlight since.
