A natural gas leak caused the explosion and subsequent fire that claimed the life of a 15-year-old Bingham High School student Wednesday in South Jordan.

Just days after 15-year-old Logan Hansen was killed in a home explosion in South Jordan, hundreds of people gathered to remember and honor his life.

It was a somber night as hundreds of friends, classmates, neighbors and loved ones gathered to honor the life of Logan Hansen, a Bingham High School Student who died in a house explosion Wednesday.

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (KUTV) — With the sunrise, a community in Utah got a clear look at the aftermath of a house explosion in South Jordan that left a 15-year-old Bingham High School student dead. According to a statement from South Jordan authorities, the family requested the boy's name not be released right away.
